The Devil's Daughter on Steam. If you have not played the Frogwares SH series before, do NOT start with this title. Instead: If you want something more . Some sequences do feel cinematic if you don't fail and understand what you're expected to do, but many simply feel unnecessarily long and/or frustrating. Although there is a variety of timed mechanics here besides just quicktime events, which is good, they don't all feel very fun. All of these are skippable, however, but at the expense of certain achievements. The writing is generally not as good as previous cases, although there are some clever parts. For all it struggles and strains, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter ultimately fails to make you feel like the titular English detective. If you are looking for detective mystery that actually feels like one, this is it. Buy Sherlock Holmes : The Devil's Daughter .Summary: Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, the eighth game in the series, is an incredible adventure game with unique gameplay blending investigation, action and exploration for an extraordinary experience that will test the limits of players' nerves and intelligence.
